The Wonderful World of Classical Music

An Enncrave compilation

I am just a simple music lover, especially music that heals the mind, body, and spirit. “Music does a lot of things for a lot of people. It’s transporting, for sure. It can take you right back, years back, to the moment certain things happened in your life. It’s uplifting, encouraging, and strengthening.”

Classical Music – I love classical music.

How would you describe classical music? “of, relating to, or characteristic of a formal musical tradition, as distinguished from popular or folk music” and more specifically, “of or relating to formal European music of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, characterized by harmony, balance, and adherence to established compositional forms“.

What makes classical music so special?

Soothing and Relaxing: Live classical music has a calming effect on the mind and body, making it the perfect way to unwind after a long day. Stimulates the Brain: Research has shown that listening to classical music can improve cognitive function and stimulate the brain, making it an ideal choice for studying or work.-https://pacificsymphony.blog/2023/02/24/10-reasons-why-classical-music-is-a-must-have-in-your-life/#:~:text=

This compilation are some of the selected Chopin’s masterpiece that combines romantic, happy, dark and fast piano solos. Of course, this is merely a fraction of Chopin’s greatest work that resonates through generations until today –https://www.youtube.com/@theclassical9812

The Sonata for Two Pianos in D major, K. 448, is a piano work composed in 1781 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at the age of 25. According to the British Epilepsy Organization, research has suggested that Mozart’s K 448 can have the “Mozart effect”, in that listening to the piano sonata improved spatial reasoning skills and reduced the number of seizures in people with epilepsy. Apart from another Mozart Concerto, K 488, only one other piece of music has been found to have a similar effect, a song by the Greek composer Yanni, entitled “Acroyali/Standing In Motion”, which is featured on his album Yanni Live at the Acropolis. It was determined to exhibit the “Mozart effect” by the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine because it was similar to Mozart’s K 448 in terms of tempo, structure, melodic and harmonic consonance, and predictability.

Clair de Lune means ‘light of the moon,’ and that seems like a very fitting title to me. It’s light and airy yet mysterious, with darker, more complex chords moving underneath the basic melody. It can seem sad yet triumphant. It can be soothing and calming, but it can also be turbulent and emotional. It takes its title from an atmospheric poem by the French poet Paul Verlaine. The poem depicts the soul as somewhere full of music ‘in a minor key,’ where birds are inspired to sing by the ‘sad and beautiful’ light of the moon. – https://hidraupianobenches.com/what-is-classical-music-a-deep-dive/#:~:text=

“When I admire the moon’s wonders and beauty, my soul expands in worshiping the creator.” – Enncrave

Steinway Artist Lang Lang performs Beethoven’s “Für Elise” on the Lang Lang Steinway Black Diamond Limited Edition. Of the piece, Lang Lang says: “For me it is very romantic, and light, like a feather. It has to come from nowhere and it has to touch people. It can’t just be treated as background music. I’ve tried to play the piece as the masterpiece that it is, and I hope that children who begin learning ‘Für Elise’ will treat it the same way.” https://www.youtube.com/@steinway/featured
